Data avoidance and data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or prescribed by law.

Access to this website

An access log is not kept for this website. Your page views are therefore not recorded.

The web server does, however, keep a permanent error log. It records only faulty or suspicious requests - such as attack attempts or technical malfunctions - together with IP address, timestamp and the requested address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and functionality of this website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). These logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Contacting us by e-mail

If you write to us by e-mail, we process your details - sender address, name and content of the message - solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted as soon as they are no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

Hosting

This website is operated at netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. The provider processes the resulting data on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in Germany.

No audience measurement, no cookies

This retro version contains no scripts, no cookies and no content embedded from other servers. No audience measurement takes place.

Unencrypted transmission (HTTP)

This retro version is deliberately also available over an unencrypted HTTP connection, so that it can be viewed with old computers and browsers that do not support today’s encryption. Over HTTP, your page requests and the content are transmitted unencrypted and can be read or altered by third parties along the way. The site contains no forms; apart from the page request itself, you do not transmit any data.
